Hundreds Of Homes Left Without Power Following Storms

OVER 1,500 customers were left without power in Tullamore following overnight winds last Monday night and Tuesday morning.
The ESB say customers in Clonminch and surrounding areas were without power from 9.42 a.m. on Tuesday morning January 3rd.
ESB crews were out in force trying to repair the faults and power was restored to these areas by 10.30 a.m.
Two and a half thousand homes and businesses were left without power in the midlands after high winds wreaked havoc across the region.
