TULLAMORE woman Orlaith O'Brien has won two international awards with her Dublin-based law firm McEvoy Partners.
Despite a challenging business environment, 2011 proved a successful year for the corporate law firm which was founded ten years ago.
The firm looks set for a bright future, having scooped two prestigious international law awards this year, in recognition of achievement in the area of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and AIM Admissions.
Ms O'Brien is the commercial partner in the firm, which provides a full range of corporate legal services to international and domestic clients, emerging businesses and public bodies, and has recently moved to new offices in Dublin city centre.
The firm was announced as the AIM 'Law Firm of Ireland' at the annual Finance Monthly law awards. The Finance Monthly awards recognise firms that have dedicated their resources to innovation, built on their depth of expertise and performed outstandingly over the year.
Finance Monthly magazine over 50,000 registered subscribers around the world. The firm was also named as winner of the 'Irish M&A Law Firm of the year 2011' courtesy of Acquisition International.
Acquisition International is a monthly magazine with a global circulation, which brings together all parties involved in deal making processes.
Commenting on winning both these prestigious awards, Orlaith O'Brien said: 'Both accolades reaffirm McEvoy Partners as a serious contender in corporate law. It is
