he sun shone brightly in the Gaa grounds of Killeigh on the June Bank Holiday Monday last where the Killeigh people came in large numbers, young and old for the Fun Day and they were not disappointed.
There was something for everyone, from wellie throwing to hang the jersey competitions. Cross bar challenge, football golf, long jump and many more. Even local man Joe Kelly brought along his HorseShoes, which was on show on the day and he demonstrated how the game should be played.

The Killeigh School Boys and Girls picked up their 1st prize winning cheque from Clodiagh Gaels draw also on the day.
The Killeigh Community Centre Development Chairperson Joe Walsh made a special presentation to the 2 captains of the Killeigh NS, Allianz Cumann na mBunscol county champions for both hurling and camogie, Jane Murray and David Murray.
The Committee would like to extend their thanks for the support they got on the day from a number of people, in particular, Killeigh Field committee for the use of Killeigh Gaa facility and their help and support on the day.
