Irelands first and only midnight rugby 7s competition returns to Tullamore Rugby Club's home on July 28. A unique format that sees competitive 7s rugby played through from early afternoon until midnight.
Quickly developing into one of the premier 7s events in the country, Midland Midnight 7s caters for elite exponents of the sevens game as well as the socialite rugby player and has men's and women's competitions on the schedule.
With 40 teams competing this year it is their biggest tournament. Teams from the Midlands, the four Irish provinces and the returning Belgium Barbarians will be join by 3 Scottish teams, The Rex Club Red Kites.
The Midland Midnight 7's also enjoys the tag of probably the most social of all 7's tournaments with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, with great craic and banter enjoyed by both players and spectators.
Spectators are welcome to attend from 1pm till late at Tullamore RFC, Spollenstown.
The event is run on a voluntary basis by club volunteers and enjoys the support of qualified referees from across the country.
This special sevens tournament would not be possible without the co-operation of sponsors, referees, club volunteers and participants.
