Cooney Takes Lady Captain’s Prize At Tullamore Golf Club

TULLAMORE Golf Club Lady Captain Pamela Smullen's 18 hole stroke competition took place on Saturday 24th and Sunday. Great scores were brought in as the sunshine came out for Round 1 on Saturday. Round two saw the winners emerge, with the consistent results of both rounds. A full club house, with music and of course dancing, on Sunday evening brought a great week end of golf for the ladies to a close. Congratulations to all the winners. The results were;

Inter Club team events;
Congratulations to the Boyne trophy team, who played against Castlecomer on Monday. They had three great wins, with the final match won at 9pm with a birdie on the 20th hole in the long playing course at Castlecomer. We wish you all the best of luck for the semi-final match on the 11th of August in Edenderry against Blackbush.
Tullamore got through to another semi final match with the Junior Cup Team. They play Mullingar at The Curragh 1.30pm on the 8th of August. Best of luck to the team, K.Moylan, H.Egan, S.McNiff, C.Flynn, L.Dunne, A.Wynne, C.Cooney, M.Kinsella.
