Tullamore U-14 Hurling Medal Presentation

Thursday, 8 December 2011

TULLAMORE under 14 hurlers celebrated their county final success last Saturday evening in the GAA Social Centre.
There was a great turn out for this wonderful occasion with family members, friends, club members and senior players in attendance on the night.
The presentation of medals was followed by speeches including very influential words from Kilkenny's All Ireland winner Colin Fennelly.
He expressed how lucky each of the boys were to have an under 14 county medal - a medal he would love to have with his club Ballyhale Shamrocks.
Johnny Dooley, the team manager thanked all the lads for their commitment throughout the year, their parents and his management team for their part in this win.
He also expressed thanks to the club for all their help throughout the year. Club Chairman Fergal McKeon also thanked Johnny and his selectors for all their hard work, their wives and team sponsor Supermacs.
He thanked Colin Fennelly and Joe Higgins, Coiste na nÓg who gave up their time to attend on the night. A cake was then cut by the winning team captain Barry Mooney and Colin Fennelly to mark the teams success.
The club would like to express thanks to Paul Conlon who organised the night and to all who attended to make this night extra special for the lads. You can catch up with all the photos on the website.
