A KILLAVILLA United lady soccer player has made history by becoming the first Irish girl international from the club.
Fourteen year old Chloe Kirwan was one of two Tipperary girls named on the Irish U-15 squad for a tournament next Easter following fine performances while playing for Munster in a tournament in Athlone - Munster overcame the odds by winning the tournament.
Killavilla United FC would like to thank James Scott for taking their girls under his wing and helping Chloe to get to where she is today.
Killavilla also have four girls representing the club at the U19 emerging talent competition this year with more International prospects on the cards. Laura Walsh, Grainne Egan, Stephanie Dolan and Clodagh Shanahan are all in with a great chance.
The club also had seven girls on the Tipperary Gaynor Cup team this year. Chloe Kirwan, Laura Kavanagh, Paula Quinlan, Ciara Collins, Clodagh McCormack, Carly Wright and Natasha Drought .
