Rouse lecture on the future of the GAA thumbnailPaul Rouse is giving a lecture on the "Future of the GAA" in Tullamore Library on November 23.

Dr. Paul Rouse will give a lecture entitled 'The Future of the GAA' in Tullamore Library on Thursday 23rd November at 6.30pm. 

Paul Rouse is a lecturer in the School of History and Archives at University College Dublin.

He has written extensively on the history of sport in Ireland for more than twenty years.

A former award-winning journalist with Prime Time Investigates on RTE television, he regularly contributes to current affairs and sports programmes on radio and television, as well as writing in the press. 

He is well known in Offaly, having played senior football with Tullamore for several years.

A very accurate free taker, he was a key member of the Tullamore squad that won the Senior Football Championship in 2000 (when they ended a 23 year famine) and 2002 while he was a selector when they won it again in 2007 and was on the backroom team when his younger brother John managed them to success in 2013.
