A toilet facility will be available at the 5K mark. Tea / coffee and light refreshments will be available at the finish in Bord na Móna O'Connor Park. The registration fee is €25 and anyone raising over €75 gets a free t-shirt while anyone collecting over €100 gets their name on the Sponsor Wall at O'Connor Park.

It is a major fundraising event and many former Offaly footballers and hurlers have come on board by signing up for the walk and collecting sponsorship.

The walk will give people the opportunity to meet the current senior hurling and football managers, Kevin Martin and John Maughan, as well as a host of current and former players such as Seamus Darby, Michael Duignan, Johnny Mooney and Vinny Claffey amongst many more. You can also sponsor these former players or any other walker online, simply search for them in the walkers list on the website and sponsor them as much as you wish.
