THE coaching programme ‘Gaelic4Girls’ has taken Tullamore by storm, with 56 girls from Tullamore and the surrounding areas descending onto O’Brien Park, Tullamore to be treated to 60 minutes of great fun and coaching in Ladies Gaelic Football every Saturday.

This programme continues for another seven weeks every Saturday from 11.30am-12.30pm in O’Brien Park, Tullamore.

It is fantastic to see so many enthusiastic girls, who have little Gaelic Football experience, enjoying themselves, said the organisers.

The programme is open to girls aged 8-12 years who are not part of a Ladies Gaelic Football Club and who are interested in learning the skills of the game.

All girls from Tullamore and the surrounding areas are encouraged to attend and learn the skills of Ladies Gaelic Football from the enthusiastic coaches.

All girls will be presented with a ‘Gaelic4Girls’ jersey and a certificate upon completion of the programme.

A major bonus from the programme is that all participants will get the chance to participate in a mini-blitz in Moorefield, Co Kildare on April 13 with another club participating in the ‘Gaelic4Girls’ programme.

The cost for the entire programme is only €10. Anybody who would like more details on this programme is asked to contact Kelley Cunningham on 087-3182211.
