TULLAMORE lady, Kamila Kiraz, was delighted to be chosen as one of the top ten in The Dunboyne Castle Most Stylish Lady competition at Fairyhouse on Monday, 22nd April.
Beating off stiff competition from a contingent of Ireland’s most stylish ladies, Kamila and her fellow finalists were announced in front of a huge crowd in the main marquee at the €500,000 Boylesports Irish Grand National at Fairyhouse Racecourse.
Kamila’s colourful outfit certainly helped her stand out from the crowd. Her beautiful flamingo inspired bedazzled dress was from Asos and her shoes were New Look. Kamila’s headpiece and bag were a nod to her home town of Tullamore, with her headpiece being created by Denise Casey from Ballycumber, and her bag from Glitzi Bitz.
Kamila caught the eye of the judging panel, which included singer-songwriter, Una Healy, executive producer of Xpose, Debbie O’Donnell, and Gráinne Ross, managing director of Dunboyne Castle, who chose the most stylish lady top ten based on their interpretation of this year’s theme, Country Chic.
Unfortunately Kamila was pipped at the post by overall winner, Paula Gannon, who wore a floral suit from Hobbs, handmade her headpiece, bought her shoes in Dunnes Stores which she added accessories to, and her bag was from Coast.
Una Healy said: The judges and I had a really difficult decision choosing from the final ten ladies. The standard of style today was really high and the good weather brought out some great colour and headpieces, which was great to see. Kamila’s style really stood out for its uniqueness and bright colours.
