IT was a clean sweep all round for Ireland last weekend in the Rugby as the mens, Women and U20's all left Scotland with victories.

The Women's team left Glasgow with a 22-5 win as they bounced back from their opening day defeat to England.

With three Offaly natives on the starting team, Ireland were never in any real trouble with Doon's Michelle Claffey starting at inside centre, Tullamore's Ailsa Hughes at scrum half and Kilcormac native Nichola Fryday performing well in the second row.The U20s had a 24-5 win over the Scots with Birr's Michael Milne coming off the bench in the second half to play his part.

All the sides are on a break from the Six Nations this weekend but they will return to action on the weekend of the 24th February when the teams make the trip to Italy.
